Oppi

Smile and learn how children should behave. Early-age education inspired by totalitarian societies and social media.

Oppi (eng. doctrine, learning) is an interactive experience that places the visitor in the role of an obedient pupil in a dystopian schooling system.

Seated at a school desk, the pupil must keep smiling to watch an educational video: a cautionary tale that teaches children to obey the rules. If the pupil stops smiling, the video pauses until they smile again.
